Synopsis

F/X is a 1986 American action thriller film directed by Robert Mandel. The story follows Rollie Tyler, a special effects artist who is hired by the Justice Department to stage the fake assassination of a mobster. However, things take a dangerous turn when Rollie realizes he has been set up and is now being targeted by both the mob and the police.

As Rollie tries to clear his name and uncover the truth behind the conspiracy, he must use his skills as a special effects artist to outsmart his enemies and stay alive. With the help of a resourceful detective named Leo McCarthy, Rollie races against time to expose the real mastermind behind the elaborate scheme.
