Synopsis

Ginger & Rosa is a coming-of-age film that follows the lives of two teenage girls, Ginger and Rosa, who are best friends growing up in London during the early 1960s.

Ginger and Rosa are inseparable, sharing everything from clothes to secrets. However, their friendship is put to the test when they become involved in the growing anti-nuclear movement that is sweeping across Europe.

As the tension between the two girls grows, they find themselves drifting apart and questioning their beliefs and values. Ginger becomes increasingly drawn to the activism and protests, while Rosa becomes more interested in boys and parties.

When a shocking betrayal threatens to tear them apart for good, Ginger & Rosa must confront their differences and decide what is truly important to them.
