Good Morning Babylon is a film directed by Paolo and Vittorio Taviani. It tells the story of two Italian brothers, Nicola and Andrea, who travel to America in the early 20th century to work as set builders in the nascent film industry.
As they struggle to make a living in the bustling city of Los Angeles, they eventually find success working on the set of the famous director D.W. Griffith.
However, their dreams of becoming filmmakers themselves are put on hold when World War I breaks out and they are forced to return to Italy.
Despite the challenges they face, the brothers remain determined to pursue their passion for cinema and eventually return to America to continue their journey in the film industry.
Good Morning Babylon is a poignant tale of perseverance, brotherhood, and the power of dreams in the face of adversity.
