Synopsis

Good Will Hunting is a 1997 American drama film directed by Gus Van Sant and starring Matt Damon, Robin Williams, Ben Affleck, Minnie Driver, and Stellan Skarsgård.

The film follows the story of Will Hunting, a janitor at MIT who is secretly a mathematical genius. When his talent is discovered by a professor, Will is faced with the choice of pursuing his potential or staying in his current life.

Throughout the film, Will struggles with his past traumas and insecurities, which are brought to light through his therapy sessions with psychologist Sean Maguire, played by Robin Williams.

As Will navigates his relationships with his friends, girlfriend, and mentor, he must confront his fears and decide what path he wants to take in life.
