Synopsis

Gor is a science fiction novel by John Norman, the first book in the Gor series. The story follows the adventures of Tarl Cabot, a professor from Earth who is transported to the planet Gor through a magical portal. On Gor, Tarl discovers a world where men are dominant and women are subservient. He becomes embroiled in the politics and conflicts of this new world, eventually becoming a warrior and a leader. As Tarl navigates the complex society of Gor, he must confront his own beliefs and values, as well as the harsh realities of this brutal and unforgiving world.
