Synopsis

Gray Matter is the first adventure game from renowned author Jane Jensen since the release of Gabriel Knight 3: the story mixes spooky events with supernatural events in the best Jensen style. Neurobiologist Dr. David Styles is one of the game's central characters: ever since he lost his wife in a horrible accident several years ago, he has become a recluse, rarely leaving Dread Hill House, the estate english from him When student and part-time street artist Samantha Everett shows up on his doorstep, she unexpectedly becomes his assistant. Hailing from the United States, he has been traveling throughout most of Europe for the past two years. His first task: find six test subjects at Oxford University for one of Styles' experiments. The experiment starts off innocent enough, but then unexplained incidents start to pile up.
