Synopsis

Once upon a time, there were two siblings named Hansel and Gretel. They lived in a small house near the forest with their cruel stepmother and weak father.

One day, the stepmother decided to abandon Hansel and Gretel in the forest because they were eating too much food. The children overheard her plan and Hansel came up with a plan to leave a trail of breadcrumbs so they could find their way back home.

Unfortunately, the breadcrumbs were eaten by birds and Hansel and Gretel were lost in the forest. They stumbled upon a house made of gingerbread and candy, which belonged to a wicked witch.

The witch lured them inside with promises of food and shelter, but she had evil intentions. She locked Hansel in a cage and forced Gretel to do chores. Hansel cleverly tricked the witch into checking if he was fat enough to eat, and he pushed her into the oven instead.

Hansel and Gretel escaped the witch's house and found their way back home, where they were reunited with their father. The stepmother had died, and they lived happily ever after.

I found the repetitive use of generic orchestral themes in the soundtrack to be monotonous and uninteresting. The music did not enhance the scenes or evoke any strong emotions, making it difficult to fully immerse myself in the story.
