Synopsis

Harvard Man is a 2001 American crime comedy-drama film directed by James Toback. The film follows a Harvard University student named Alan Jensen who gets involved in a drug deal gone wrong.

Alan is a star basketball player and a brilliant student who is dating the daughter of the university president. He becomes involved with a drug dealer named Cindy Bandolini, played by Sarah Michelle Gellar, and agrees to transport a large amount of ecstasy pills for her.

However, the deal goes awry when Alan is arrested by the FBI and forced to become an informant. He must navigate a dangerous world of drugs, violence, and betrayal while trying to protect himself and his loved ones.

Harvard Man explores themes of loyalty, deception, and the consequences of one's actions. The film received mixed reviews from critics but has developed a cult following over the years.
