Synopsis

Higashi no Eden Gekijoban I: The King of Eden is a Japanese animated film that serves as a sequel to the anime series *Eden of the East*. The story follows Saki Morimi, a young woman who becomes involved with a mysterious man named Akira Takizawa, who is one of the twelve Seleção - individuals chosen to save Japan from its economic crisis.

After the events of the series, Akira has disappeared and Saki is left searching for him. She eventually finds him in New York City, where he has lost his memories and is living as a normal college student. However, their reunion is cut short when they become embroiled in a new conspiracy involving the mysterious "Eden of the East" organization.

As they navigate the dangerous world of the Seleção, Saki and Akira must uncover the truth behind Eden of the East and its connection to the game that has put their lives in danger. With time running out and enemies closing in, they must rely on each other to survive and unravel the mysteries that threaten to destroy them.
