Synopsis

High Road to China is a 1983 American adventure-romance film directed by Brian G. Hutton and starring Tom Selleck and Bess Armstrong.

The story follows a spoiled heiress named Eve Tozer who hires a hard-drinking biplane pilot named O'Malley to help her find her missing father, who disappeared while searching for a lost city in China.

As they journey through various exotic locations, they face numerous obstacles and dangers, including rival treasure hunters and hostile natives.

Along the way, Eve and O'Malley develop a deep bond and discover their true feelings for each other.
