4/10

I found the musical choices in Hold Your Breath to be repetitive and uninspiring. The lack of variation in the soundtrack made it difficult to stay engaged with the story, as the same themes and motifs were repeated throughout the entire novel, failing to capture the full emotional depth of Sarah's harrowing journey.

Timothy King

The use of eerie and haunting melodies enhances the sense of isolation and fear as Sarah battles against time and her own fears.

The soundtrack of Hold Your Breath felt disconnected from the intense and suspenseful atmosphere of the novel. The music failed to enhance the feeling of urgency and danger that Sarah was experiencing inside the sinking submarine.
