Synopsis

Morgan Stewart's Coming Home is a 1987 American comedy-drama film directed by Paul Aaron. The film stars Jon Cryer, Lynn Redgrave, and Nicholas Pryor.

The story follows Morgan Stewart, a teenager who has been living in California with his wealthy father. When his father decides to run for Governor, Morgan is sent back to his hometown in the Midwest to live with his mother, a down-to-earth woman who runs a struggling diner.

As Morgan adjusts to life in his old town, he reconnects with old friends and learns the value of hard work and humility. Along the way, he also discovers a family secret that changes his perspective on his upbringing.
