Honeysuckle Rose is a 1980 American romantic drama film directed by Jerry Schatzberg. The film stars Willie Nelson as Buck Bonham, a country music singer who struggles with the temptations of life on the road.
Buck Bonham is a married man with a family, but he finds himself drawn to the lifestyle of a touring musician. As he travels from town to town, he is tempted by drugs, alcohol, and the attention of adoring fans.
