Synopsis

Distraught and with a heavy conscience, Ignatius Perrish finds his little world forever shattered, when he becomes the prime suspect in the gruesome murder of his childhood sweetheart, Merrin.

Ostracised from the community as an unrepentant killer, Ig wakes up after a long night of binge-drinking to discover that a pair of gnarled and menacing horns have sprouted up in his forehead, possessing a new set of superhuman powers that can bend the free will of everyone around him.

Now, unspeakable desires and abysmal secrets come to light, as, more and more, Ig renounces his former self.

Can Perrish use his infernal authority to unearth the truth?

The musical score effectively conveys Ignatius Perrish's inner turmoil and descent into darkness, reflecting his emotional journey with haunting melodies and intense orchestrations.

David Baker
8/10

The use of unconventional instruments and experimental sounds in the soundtrack adds a unique and unsettling quality to the overall listening experience, creating a sense of unease and tension.

Mark White
5/10

The soundtrack of Horns effectively captures the dark and brooding atmosphere of the film. The haunting melodies and eerie tones enhance the sense of despair and inner turmoil experienced by the main character, Ignatius Perrish.

Brian Green
3/10

The repetitive nature of certain musical motifs throughout the movie became tiresome and monotonous, diminishing the sense of progression and development in the storyline. Rather than adding depth and complexity to the characters and their relationships, the soundtrack felt like a superficial layer that failed to resonate with the deeper themes explored in Horns.

6/10

The use of experimental and unconventional sounds in the soundtrack adds a layer of unpredictability and unease to the storytelling. The music perfectly mirrors the twisted and surreal nature of Ig's journey as he grapples with his newfound powers and the dark secrets of his past.

Amanda Thomas
2/10

The soundtrack of Horns failed to capture the emotional depth and complexity of Ignatius Perrish's internal struggle as he grapples with guilt and ostracization following the murder of his childhood sweetheart. The music felt disconnected from the intense themes of the story, leaving me feeling emotionally detached from the character's journey.

Andrew Walker
3/10

The use of generic, uninspired musical cues in pivotal moments of the film detracted from the overall impact of the narrative. Instead of enhancing the suspense and tension of key scenes, the soundtrack felt cliché and predictable, failing to create a truly immersive viewing experience.

Amanda Turner
7/10

The Horns soundtrack perfectly captures the dark and eerie atmosphere of the story, enhancing the suspense and mystery throughout the film.
