Synopsis

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 follows Katniss Everdeen as she becomes the symbol of rebellion against the Capitol in the dystopian world of Panem. After surviving the Quarter Quell, Katniss is taken to District 13, where she reluctantly agrees to become the Mockingjay, the face of the revolution.

As the rebellion gains momentum, Katniss struggles with her role as a symbol and the toll it takes on her personally. She witnesses the destruction and loss caused by the war, and must decide how far she is willing to go to fight for freedom.

Meanwhile, Peeta Mellark is being held captive by the Capitol and used as a tool to manipulate Katniss and the rebels. The lines between friend and enemy blur as Katniss navigates the complexities of war and propaganda.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 sets the stage for the final showdown between the rebels and the Capitol, as Katniss must confront her own demons and make difficult choices that will determine the fate of Panem.
