Synopsis

"Hymn of Death" is a tragic love story about Kim Woo Jin, a married playwright, and Yun Shim Deok, Korea's first soprano. Set in the 1920s during the Japanese occupation of Korea, their love story faces many obstacles, including societal norms and their own personal struggles.

Despite the challenges, Kim Woo Jin and Yun Shim Deok's love for each other grows stronger. However, their love story comes to a heartbreaking end when Yun Shim Deok decides to take her own life, leaving Kim Woo Jin devastated.
