Synopsis

Impulse is a science fiction novel written by Steven Gould. The story follows the life of a teenage girl named Cent, who discovers she has the ability to teleport herself to any location she can visualize in her mind. This power, known as "jumping," comes with its own set of dangers and consequences.

As Cent learns to control her abilities, she must navigate the complexities of her new reality while also dealing with the challenges of being a teenager. She soon finds herself caught in a web of government conspiracies and dangerous enemies who will stop at nothing to exploit her powers for their own gain.

With the help of her friends and family, Cent must learn to harness her abilities and protect herself from those who seek to control her. Along the way, she discovers the true extent of her powers and the impact they can have on the world around her.
