It's that time of year, whether proving Santa Claus is real (non-fiction) or fictional (fiction), in this Miramax Christmas movie. When Princess Crystal (Hillary Duff), of Royal Rookery Rock, is struck on the head by the mysterious sleigh bell, she and her sister, Princess Lucinda, set out in search of the North Pole town of Santa, with their hearts. Along the way, they must make friends, make new friends (like the Pup the Seal and the Pirates of the Blubber Belly), face fierce predators (like a leopard seal and a polar bear), look in the direction of the compass of Crystal and visualizing Santa. City to return the bell, all the while trying to stop the Frightfully Deep Thinkers from taking over their royal parents' throne. With charming characters, a moving story written by Michael Aschner, and music by Michael Lloyd and Keith Heffer, this celebrates family, friendship, and Christmas, the most wonderful time of the year.
