Synopsis

The Intouchables is a French film based on a true story about an unlikely friendship between a wealthy quadriplegic man and his caregiver.

The story follows Philippe, a wealthy aristocrat who becomes paralyzed from the neck down after a paragliding accident. In need of a caregiver, he hires Driss, a young man from the projects with a criminal record.

Despite their differences, Philippe and Driss form a strong bond and learn valuable lessons from each other. Philippe teaches Driss about art and culture, while Driss helps Philippe rediscover his love for life.

Throughout the film, the two men challenge societal norms and break down barriers, proving that friendship knows no bounds.
