Jack Hunter and the Lost Treasure of Ugarit tells the story of Jack Hunter, an archaeologist who initially planned to take a picture of a cuneiform tablet from the ancient Mesopotamian city of Ugarit in present-day Syria.
However, Jack is caught and forced to steal the tablet from a private museum in France. He is reluctant to join his mentor, professor Frederic 'Freddie' Shaffer, who believes the tablet is a coded treasure map.
Things take a dark turn when Jack's friend is murdered in an attempt to steal the tablet. The prime suspect is Syrian artifact trader Ali, prompting Jack to fly to Damascus to investigate.
There, Jack must team up with local archaeologist Nadia and her driver Tariq. As they embark on a dangerous relic hunt, they face threats from a common enemy, Albert Littman, as well as another hidden secret.
