Synopsis

Jolt is a 2021 American action-comedy film starring Kate Beckinsale as Lindy, a woman with a rare neurological disorder that causes her to have uncontrollable rage-filled outbursts. To manage her condition, Lindy uses an experimental device that allows her to administer electric shocks to herself whenever she feels the urge to lash out. However, when Lindy's therapist is murdered, she becomes the prime suspect and sets out to clear her name by tracking down the real killer. As Lindy navigates the dangerous world of underground crime, she must use her unique abilities to stay one step ahead of her enemies.
