Days of Thunder is a 1990 American sports action drama film directed by Tony Scott, produced by Don Simpson and Jerry Bruckheimer, and written by Robert Towne. It stars Tom Cruise as Cole Trickle, a young NASCAR driver out to make a name for himself in the competitive world of stock car racing.
