Synopsis

Jul og grønne skove is a Danish Christmas movie that tells the story of a young girl named Sara who is spending the holidays with her grandparents in the countryside. Sara is feeling lonely and misses her parents, who are working abroad. One day, she discovers a magical forest near her grandparents' house, where she meets a group of elves who are preparing for Christmas.

The elves are worried because Santa Claus has fallen ill and won't be able to deliver presents on Christmas Eve. Sara decides to help them and embarks on a journey to find a cure for Santa. Along the way, she learns the true meaning of Christmas and the importance of helping others.
