Synopsis

Just Before Christ

In the year 33 AD, a Roman centurion named Marcus is tasked with guarding the tomb of Jesus Christ after his crucifixion. As he stands watch, Marcus begins to question his beliefs and the nature of faith.

One night, Marcus is visited by a mysterious figure who claims to be Jesus himself, returned from the dead. Jesus challenges Marcus to confront his doubts and fears, leading him on a journey of self-discovery and redemption.

As Marcus grapples with his inner turmoil, he must also navigate the political and religious tensions of Jerusalem in the days leading up to Christ's resurrection. Will Marcus find the courage to face his demons and embrace a new path, or will he remain trapped in his own doubts and fears?
