Synopsis

Hamalla is banished from his village in Mali due to old prejudices. He returns four years later versed in modern technology at a time when the future of the town hangs on the brink of contamination from the sacred well of the ancestors, a symbol of the spirituality of the entire community. Faced with the epidemic, Hamalla's must convince the villagers of the need to purify the water.
