Kick-Ass is a 2010 superhero film based on the comic book of the same name by Mark Millar and John Romita Jr. The film follows the story of Dave Lizewski, a high school student who decides to become a real-life superhero despite having no superpowers or training.
After donning a costume and taking on the persona of "Kick-Ass," Dave sets out to fight crime and make a difference in his city. Along the way, he encounters other amateur superheroes, including the father-daughter duo of Big Daddy and Hit-Girl, who are on a mission to take down a powerful crime boss.
As Kick-Ass becomes more involved in the world of crime-fighting, he must navigate the dangers of his new life while also dealing with the challenges of being a teenager. The film explores themes of heroism, identity, and the consequences of vigilantism.
Kick-Ass received positive reviews for its unique take on the superhero genre, as well as its dark humor and action-packed scenes. The film was followed by a sequel, Kick-Ass 2, in 2013.
