Synopsis

La Reina del Sur is a Spanish television series that tells the story of Teresa Mendoza, a young Mexican woman who becomes the most powerful drug trafficker in southern Spain.

Teresa Mendoza is forced to flee Mexico after her boyfriend is murdered by a drug cartel. She ends up in Spain, where she quickly rises through the ranks of the drug trade, earning the nickname "La Reina del Sur" (The Queen of the South).

As Teresa navigates the dangerous world of drug trafficking, she must outsmart her enemies and stay one step ahead of the law. She forms alliances with powerful figures in the criminal underworld, but also faces betrayal and danger at every turn.

Throughout the series, Teresa's strength and determination are put to the test as she fights to survive and protect her empire. Her rise to power is filled with twists and turns, making La Reina del Sur a thrilling and suspenseful drama.
