Synopsis

La scelta is a novel written by Italian author Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa. The story is set in Sicily during the 19th century and follows the life of a young nobleman, Fabrizio Corbera, as he navigates the political and social changes of the time.

Fabrizio is torn between his desire to uphold the traditions of his family and the allure of the modern world. As he grapples with his own identity and the expectations placed upon him, he must make a choice that will determine the course of his life.
