Synopsis

L'addition is a French short film that tells the story of a young couple, Marie and Pierre, who go out for dinner at a fancy restaurant. As they enjoy their meal, they start to argue about who should pay the bill.

Marie insists that Pierre should pay, as he is the one who invited her out. However, Pierre believes that they should split the bill, as they are both working professionals.

The argument escalates as they try to figure out a fair way to divide the bill. In the end, they come up with a creative solution that surprises them both.

L'addition explores themes of gender roles, relationships, and communication in a lighthearted and humorous way.
