Synopsis

The Wolf of Wall Street is a biographical black comedy film directed by Martin Scorsese. The movie is based on the true story of Jordan Belfort, a stockbroker who rises to power on Wall Street in the 1990s.

The film follows Belfort's journey as he starts his own firm, Stratton Oakmont, and becomes incredibly wealthy through fraudulent activities and unethical practices.

As Belfort's wealth and power grow, he becomes consumed by greed, drugs, and a lavish lifestyle. He is eventually caught by the FBI and sentenced to prison for securities fraud and money laundering.

The Wolf of Wall Street stars Leonardo DiCaprio as Jordan Belfort, along with Jonah Hill, Margot Robbie, and Matthew McConaughey. The film received critical acclaim for its performances, direction, and screenplay.
