Honoré Fragonard, who leads a rather dissolute life, is a painter appreciated at court. This earned him commissions he would gladly dispense with, which decidedly did not inspire him. While fleeing from their propositions, Honoré meets by chance the model capable of inspiring him: Marianne, a young and beautiful washerwoman... But Honoré has a cousin, Cyprien, the other Fragonard, who is also interested in the human body, but from a scientific perspective: he dissects corpses to study them.
