Synopsis
Jacob, a boy living in a seaside town, is plagued with guilt for being responsible for his brother's tragic death in a surfing accident. He has withdrawn from life, from surfing and from his best friend Alex. The course of the children's lives will be changed forever after a car accident leaves them in a vivid spiritual world between life and death. This realm brings to life your deepest fantasies and manifests your greatest fears. There are two possibilities: either you will face these fears, you will face the painful memories of your past and thus be given a chance to rejoin life, or you will run away from them, leaving this world for a false and idealized world presented by Kali, a mysterious female spirit, who promises to free them from pain, save them from The Darkness, and reunite Jacob with his brother.
