Synopsis

Lightning Jack is a 1994 Western comedy film starring Paul Hogan as the title character, Lightning Jack Kane, a notorious outlaw in the American Old West. The film follows Lightning Jack and his dim-witted sidekick, Ben Doyle, played by Cuba Gooding Jr., as they embark on a series of bank robberies and other criminal activities.

Despite his reputation as a dangerous criminal, Lightning Jack is actually a coward at heart, relying on his quick draw skills and bravado to mask his fear. Ben, on the other hand, is loyal to Lightning Jack and looks up to him as a mentor, despite his own lack of intelligence.

As the two outlaws continue their crime spree, they attract the attention of a determined lawman, played by Beverly D'Angelo, who is determined to bring them to justice. Along the way, Lightning Jack and Ben encounter various colorful characters and get into all sorts of hilarious and dangerous situations.

Lightning Jack is a lighthearted and entertaining film that combines action, comedy, and drama in a unique way. Paul Hogan's performance as the bumbling outlaw is both funny and endearing, while Cuba Gooding Jr. provides comic relief as his loyal sidekick. The film's blend of humor and adventure makes it a must-see for fans of Westerns and comedy alike.
