Synopsis

Lights Out is a horror film about a man named Paul who is working after hours and is murdered by a supernatural entity lurking in the shadows.

When his son, the boy Martin, is terrified by the same creature, he witnesses his mother Sophie conversing with an imaginary friend named Diana in the darkness of her room.

Martin becomes unable to sleep at night, prompting his older step sister Rebecca, who lives alone, to be contacted by a social worker.

Rebecca brings Martin home and reflects on her own encounter with Diana years ago when she was a child.

Rebecca and her boyfriend Bret decide to investigate the connection between Sophie and Diana, leading them to a chilling revelation about their past.
