Synopsis

Lingua Franca is a film that follows the story of an undocumented Filipina trans woman named Olivia who works as a caregiver for Olga, an elderly Russian woman in Brooklyn. Olivia is also trying to secure a green card through her marriage to a Russian man, Alex.
