Synopsis

Longshot is a story about two foosball enthusiasts who dream of becoming professional soccer players in Europe. They come up with a plan to raise enough money to finance their trip by working their way up through local foosball tournaments to the grand $50,000 World Championships in Tahoe.

During their journey, one of the boys suffers a broken hand and is replaced by a talented female foosball player. The other boy falls in love with a French girl he meets along the way. As they head towards the World Championships at the casino in Lake Tahoe, they find themselves being pursued by parents and security guards, adding pressure to the foosball tournament climax.
