Synopsis

Looking for Alaska is a novel by John Green that follows the story of Miles Halter, a teenager who is obsessed with famous last words and seeking a "Great Perhaps." He decides to leave his boring life in Florida and attend Culver Creek Preparatory School in Alabama, where he meets his roommate Chip "The Colonel" Martin and the enigmatic and beautiful Alaska Young.

As Miles becomes friends with The Colonel and Alaska, he is drawn into their world of pranks, mischief, and philosophical discussions. Alaska is a complex character who is both alluring and troubled, and Miles finds himself falling for her despite her unpredictable behavior.
