Synopsis

Lost Girls is a mystery thriller film that follows a detective named Mari Gilbert as she investigates the disappearance of her daughter, Shannan, and several other young women in Long Island. As Mari digs deeper into the case, she uncovers a disturbing pattern of corruption and cover-ups within the local police force.

The film is based on the true story of the Long Island serial killer, also known as the Gilgo Beach killer, who is believed to be responsible for the murders of at least 10 people. As Mari fights for justice for her daughter and the other victims, she faces numerous obstacles and dangers along the way.

Lost Girls is a gripping and emotional story that sheds light on the often overlooked issue of missing and murdered women, and the lengths that loved ones will go to in order to find the truth and seek justice.
