Synopsis

Andrea and Franca lead a dignified life. She works in a fashion house, he is an engineer in a construction company, but after a sudden dismissal, Andrea, unable to find another job concerning her role, fires the maid and begins to take care of the house. His wife Franca, on the other hand, is a career woman.

Andrea manages to find work as a butler with a wealthy lady, Countess Irene, whose image curator is a gay architect who feels attraction towards Andrea and who tries to mold him as he pleases, considering him a latent homosexual. During a party organized by the countess, Andrea gets to know an admiral to whom he submits the project of a houseboat he has developed and explains that he is in vain awaiting approval of the approval from the navy ministry. Although this conversation irritates the admiral, who will feel continually annoyed, since Andrea cannot get him to have intimacy in a possible sexual approach with a girl, in the end he will be helped by the same.
