Synopsis

Marlina the Murderer in Four Acts is a 2017 Indonesian film directed by Mouly Surya. The film follows Marlina, a young widow living in a remote village in Indonesia. One day, a group of bandits arrives at her home, intending to rob and rape her. However, Marlina manages to kill one of the bandits in self-defense. She then embarks on a journey to seek justice for herself and the other women in her village who have been victims of violence.
