Synopsis

What if Jesus had been born in the year 2002 to a young Jewish couple in New York City, instead of Bethlehem two millennia ago? Mary is an 18-year-old high school senior, and her 23-year-old fiancé Joe is working hard to establish Techweb as an Internet consulting company. Would anyone believe the sustainability of Mary and Joe's abstinence? What kind of advice would family, friends, neighbors, and people at the corner deli get? Despising her mother's insistence that she move on with her life, Mary is thrown out of the house, rejected by Joe and expelled from school as she grows up with the boy. His GP is baffled; Her examination of him reveals that his story is true! Maria goes to live with her cousin her beautician in a crowded apartment and begins to lose heart. But a daring Hispanic angel in a Mets cap and jacket wrestles Joe in an alleyway and makes him hear the divine message of the miraculous "Don't Fear." The couple is reunited and together they face a hostile and incredulous world. ...
