Synopsis

On honeymoon with his boss's daughter, Kresten learns that his father has died. He's hidden his family from his bride, so she's surprised. He also hides from her that he has a brother Rud, who's blood simple. Kresten goes to the family farm and looks for a care-giver for Rud.

Liva, a prostitute, takes the job to escape phone harassment from an anonymous psychopath and for money to pay her brother Bjarke's school tuition. When Kresten's wife breaks off the marriage because of his lies and Bjarke is expelled for bad behavior, Liva, Kresten, Rud, and Bjarke find themselves connecting.

Then, violence and emotional conflict intrude. Will the makeshift family survive?
