Synopsis

Misery is a psychological horror novel written by Stephen King. The story follows Paul Sheldon, a successful author who is rescued from a car crash by his number one fan, Annie Wilkes. However, Paul soon realizes that Annie is not as kind as she seems. She becomes obsessed with his latest novel and forces him to write a sequel to her liking. Paul is held captive in Annie's secluded home, enduring physical and emotional torture as he tries to escape.

As the tension escalates between Paul and Annie, the reader is taken on a thrilling and terrifying journey into the depths of obsession and madness. Will Paul be able to outsmart his captor and regain his freedom, or will he succumb to the horrors of Misery?
