Additionally, I was disappointed with the lack of variety in the musical styles used throughout the series. I found that the soundtrack relied heavily on traditional Japanese instruments and melodies, which became monotonous after a while. I wish there had been more experimentation with different genres and sounds to complement the diverse range of spirits and emotions portrayed in the story.

The soundtrack of Natsume's Book of Friends felt repetitive and uninspired to me. I found that many of the tracks lacked depth and failed to evoke the emotional connection I was expecting from a series with such a rich storyline. It felt like the music was simply background noise, rather than enhancing the overall atmosphere of the show.
