Night of the Comet is a 1984 science fiction film directed by Thom Eberhardt. The story follows two teenage sisters, Regina and Samantha, who survive a comet passing by Earth that has turned most of the population into dust.
Regina and Samantha find themselves in a world devoid of people, except for a few survivors who have turned into zombies. They must navigate this post-apocalyptic world while trying to stay alive and find a safe place to call home.
As they encounter various challenges and dangers, Regina and Samantha rely on their resourcefulness and wit to outsmart the zombies and other threats. Along the way, they meet other survivors and form alliances to increase their chances of survival.
The film is a mix of horror, comedy, and science fiction, with a strong focus on the bond between the two sisters as they face the end of the world together. Night of the Comet has since become a cult classic, known for its unique premise and memorable characters.
