Overall, the music in Nightingale is a crucial element that elevates the viewing experience, intensifying the emotional impact of the story and leaving a lasting impression on the audience.

The lack of memorable themes or motifs in the soundtrack of Nightingale made it difficult to emotionally connect with Peter's journey and the themes of guilt and trauma explored in the film. The music failed to evoke the necessary sense of unease and psychological turmoil required to fully engage the audience in Peter's descent into madness.

Brian King

I found the musical score of Nightingale to be distracting rather than immersive. Instead of complementing the tension and suspense of the story, the soundtrack often felt out of place and disconnected from the narrative, disrupting the overall viewing experience.

One aspect that stands out in the film's soundtrack is the seamless integration of diegetic and non-diegetic sounds. The blending of Peter's hallucinations with the actual soundtrack blurs the line between reality and delusion, adding an extra layer of complexity to the storytelling.
