"Nightmare Classics" Carmilla Soundtrack (1989)

Synopsis

Marie is a lonely girl who only has her black cat and her dolls to keep her company. One day she is deeply dissapointed when she hears her friend, the general's daughter is ill and unfortunately cannot visit her. That evening there's a fatal carriage accident outside Marie's (Meg Tilly) father's (Roy Dotrice) secluded mansion that unexpectedly brings the only survivor, a young girl her age called Carmilla, (Ione Skye) into the family's care. Soon Marie falls under the charm of her mysterious guest and they soon become close friends. Meanwhile, shortly after Carmilla's arrival in the locality people have been dying of an unknown illness, although they all have bite marks on their necks. There's also something odd about young Carmilla's behaviour. She and Marie only play outside at night and whenever food's about to be served, she suddenly becomes ill.
