Synopsis

Nightwish is a Finnish symphonic metal band formed in 1996. The band's music is known for its blend of symphonic elements, operatic vocals, and heavy metal sound.

The band's lineup has changed several times over the years, with Tuomas Holopainen being the only original member still in the band. Nightwish's current lineup consists of Holopainen, vocalist Floor Jansen, guitarist Emppu Vuorinen, bassist Marko Hietala, and drummer Kai Hahto.

Nightwish has released nine studio albums, with their most recent being "Human. :II: Nature." released in 2020. The band has achieved commercial success worldwide, with their albums selling millions of copies and their tours selling out arenas and stadiums.

Known for their epic live performances and elaborate stage setups, Nightwish has become one of the most popular symphonic metal bands in the world. Their music has been praised for its emotional depth, powerful vocals, and intricate compositions.
