Synopsis

On the Silver Globe is a story about a small group of cosmic explorers, including a woman, who leave Earth in search of freedom and to start a new civilization.

They are unaware that within themselves lies the downfall of their own dream, as they begin to die one by one, leaving their children to revert to a primitive native culture and create new myths and a new god.

After some time, a space bureaucrat arrives on the planet, fleeing from a broken heart, only to discover that the colonizer's descendants are now enslaved by bird-monsters known as Cherns.

Society on the planet is divided into various classes, with everyone eagerly awaiting the arrival of a messiah. The newcomer is seen as a suitable candidate and is even worshipped as a god for a period of time.
