Synopsis

On the Way to School

Every morning, four children from different parts of the world set out on a journey to school. Julia, in the Kenyan savannah, walks for miles with her little sister to reach the nearest school. In the Atlas Mountains of Morocco, Samuel rides a mule through rugged terrain to get to his school. In the streets of India, Carlita travels by rickshaw with her younger brother, dodging traffic along the way. And in the icy lands of Patagonia, Gabriel rows across a lake to reach his school on time.

Despite the challenges they face, these children are determined to get an education. On the Way to School is a heartwarming documentary that follows their incredible journeys and showcases the power of education in transforming lives.
